Shedrack Anderson iii is an American actor, singer, dancer, entrepreneur, director and writer. He worked in television most of his career in Hollywood. His breakthrough was in the Steven Spielberg film Hook and The Fox production Fat Albert. Shedrack has maintained his status in the entertainment industry since 1992 till present.

He was born on 4th February 1977 in Los Angeles, California. He went to Los Angeles County High School and concentrated on Arts and this won him the Ahmanson Scholarship and Emerging Artist of the Year Award from PBS. After graduating, he enrolled at Juilliard School in New York to pursue dance and while at the school he served as the principal dancer of Ballet Hispanic of New York. She also worked as an assistant choreographer for Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater.

He is married to Pilates instructor Kathryn Hunt since 2010 till date and the couple has one child. Shedrack and his wife Kathryn own Hunt Pilates based in downtown Los Angeles. The business is named after his wife’s maiden name and she exercises her skills as a movement specialist, trainer, yogi, professional dancer and 3rd generation Pilates instructor. She has been in the industry for over 20 years helping individuals get fit. Kathryn has accumulated her wealth from fitness, fashion, her Pilates studio, beauty and real estate.

Shedrack began his acting career in the film industry in 1991 as Lost Boy on Hook and on Boston Public as Bernie and after being away from the screens for several years, he landed a role on Warriors of the Virtue; The Return to Tao in 2002 as Chucky.  From 2000 to 2002, he played Jermaine on the series Just Deal, Gracie’s Choice as Tommy, he was Rudy on Fat Albert and Chuck Taylor on Drive Thru in 2007.

His latest projects were Behind the Camera; Different Strokes as Todd Bridges and Ryan Jackson on Greek show. Venturing into horror when he acted in the Glenn Morshower film Grizzly Park in 2008, was something new and rewarding since he had not tried it before.

In 1999, Shedrack began his own production company to concentrate on producing his own films. He has been a gust star on television series like Boston Public, Hollywood Lives, Hip Hop Massive, The Parkers and The Division. He was the lead actor during the third series of The Rookie, a spin-off of 24.

Shedrack was the writer, directed and was featured along Dante Basco on Blood River and a recurring guest on Disney’s Phil of the Future. He is involved in charity projects as he is passionate about giving back and sharing with the less fortunate. He is a former Chairman of the Board for the North Texas Performing Arts Counsel and board member of the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts Foundation. He is into martial arts and has 16 national and state championship titles.
