Being grow up in the family related to Jet Li, success might be expected, but Taimi Li has chosen her own way showing respect to her family at the same time. Taimi is one of the second daughters of popular actor Jet Li and his wife Qiuyan Huang and has proved herself to be triumphant person, sensitive to both cultural and materialistic world.
Early Life
Taimi Li was born in 2002 and has lived most of her childhood in Hong Kong and Singapore as her family moved to these locations for a less stressful lifestyle owing to the extremes of the Chinese entertainment industry.
Nonetheless, Taimi received very caring and protecting upbringing from both parents given the father’s fame and odd persona; she was allowed to grow into her own to be a unique person.
In these young ages, child had a talent to draw and perform in general but she did not remain into any of her father’s ideas involving martial arts. This was ignited by her passion for music talon, she spent most of her time practicing piano throughout the years while interning in different art forms in the process.
Her mother Qiuyan Huang performed a unique task of raising and participating in the development of different creative skills while at the same time practicing the cultural aspects which affected the life of Taimi.
Career
Contrary to many women whose fame stems from their family background, Taimi has deliberately taken her time to develop her career. First, she gave her best for schooling, getting a business and arts management degree.
Such decision may also root in her practical thinking and interests to know the operational details of the creative industries businesses. Even though Taimi has accompanied her father to some events, she has been keen on creating her career in the creative industry apart from just being daughter to the Zimbabwe’s music icon.

Taimi’s dad is Jet Li, who does not require any introduction on the big screen as one of the best martial arts actors. Although achieving success with such films as “Shaolin Temple” and later unknown to the global audience with “Romeo Must Die” and “Hero” Jet Li has always valued his family.
Some years ago, he detached himself from numerous shooting in the year 2008-2009 and this mostly due to his family issues in addition to his wish to devote his time for charity. Qiuyan Huang, the mother of Taimi has been consistent influencer of the latter’s subject matter orientation.
As a former actress Qiuyan was aware of all societal pressures that were a daily portion of Taimi’s life and did everything possible to give her a normal upbringing. Especially as she has been diligent in explaining to Taimi how necessary private life is for a person with passion.
Today, Taimi Li transforms herself as not only she writes her personal story but also, she writes a family story which should go on after parents.
